Relative visits Crail Ranch
Becky Frey Finnegan (right) is shown here chatting with Big Sky author Anne Marie Mistretta (left) and family friend (center) at the season-ending Potluck at Historic Crail Ranch on Sunday, August 26.

Ms. Finnegan’s father was born in November 1918 to Duburg and Rilla Breneman in Bozeman. As told in our story Emmett and Annie, both Duburg and Rilla Breneman died within a few days of the infant’s birth. The infant was adopted by the Frey family of Anaconda, who gave him the name Robert Ernest Frey. His two older siblings, David and Glen Louise Breneman,  were raised by their aunt, Annie Breneman, who later married Emmett Crail.
