Community Development Manager
The Community Development Manager is a 1.0 FTE year-round position under direct supervision of the Executive Director. S/he will be a critical team member who will support the overall organizational development with an important role in fundraising, communication and community relationships. The Community Development Manager will be responsible for managing BSCO’s special events while supporting the Executive Director with execution of the annual fundraising plan, organizational development and community relationships. The Community Development Manager will also be responsible for leading the creative content for all marketing and outreach, while supervising our Outreach Coordinator and volunteer programs. The Community Development Manager works closely with program committees and stakeholders, along with appropriate business and individual donors and is responsible for helping to develop strong community partnerships.

Salary range is $20-25/hr ($41,600-$52,000 annually) DOE. BSCO provides competitive health benefits and paid time off package, a matching IRA and flexible work schedule. This position is a full-time position and will begin as soon as position is filled.

Summer Camp Staff
The Camp Staff is a seasonal summer position under direct supervision of the Camp Big Sky Director. Camp Staff will be an integral part to the daily operation of Camp all summer long. Camp Staff will manage groups of children, supervise counselors, and communicate with the Camp Director throughout the day. This position will lead group activities and is responsible for the safety and function of all campers and staff under their supervision. In addition to the daily group management, this position will contribute to the activity planning. Camp Staff will be expected to plan and prep for daily activities with help from the Camp Director.

Camp Staff will be paid hourly at the rate of $12-$16/hr DOE and certifications. This position will work 30-40 hours per week depending on camper enrollment. Required availability is weekdays from June 11th-Aug 24th.

Volunteer Opportunity – Be a Crail Ranch Host

Do you enjoy local history? Want to learn more and share your knowledge with visitors at the Historic Crail Ranch Museum?

The Crail Ranch Homestead Museum is recruiting volunteers to serve as Tour Guides this summer. Tours of the Homestead grounds and cabins are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 3pm through September 30th. Duties include greeting museum visitors, sharing historic facts about Crail Ranch Homestead and the Crail family and guiding guests through the cabins. Hosts learn about homesteading history and the museum artifacts through one-on-one training.

Spend the afternoon among ranching antiquities and enjoy interacting with Big Sky visitors and community members while sharing homestead history.

The Crail Ranch Homestead Museum is a program of the Big Sky Community Organization led by the volunteers of the Historic Crail Ranch Conservators Committee.

HELP MANAGE THE CRAIL RANCH GARDEN & FLOWERS – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The park grounds of the Historic Crail Ranch Homestead Museum are kept beautiful by volunteers and a new irrigation system. We are looking for individuals interested in helping manage the vegetable garden, the flower garden and flower pots during the 2017 summer season. Volunteers will share responsibility for garden management planning, ordering and planting vegetables & flowers and watering throughout the season. Note: lawn maintenance is not part of volunteer duties. This is a fun opportunity to put your green thumb to work and help enhance the Homestead Museum tours.
