Volunteer Opportunity – Be a Crail Ranch Host
Do you enjoy local history? Want to learn more and share your knowledge with visitors at the Historic Crail Ranch Museum?
The Crail Ranch Homestead Museum is recruiting volunteers to serve as Tour Guides this summer. Tours of the Homestead grounds and cabins are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 3pm through September 30th. Duties include greeting museum visitors, sharing historic facts about Crail Ranch Homestead and the Crail family and guiding guests through the cabins. Hosts learn about homesteading history and the museum artifacts through one-on-one training.
Spend the afternoon among ranching antiquities and enjoy interacting with Big Sky visitors and community members while sharing homestead history.
The Crail Ranch Homestead Museum is a program of the Big Sky Community Organization led by the volunteers of the Historic Crail Ranch Conservators Committee.

We are looking for individuals interested in helping manage the vegetable garden, the flower garden and flower pots during the 2017 summer season. Volunteers will share responsibility for garden management planning, ordering and planting vegetables & flowers and watering throughout the season. Note: lawn maintenance is not part of volunteer duties. This is a fun opportunity to put your green thumb to work and help enhance the Homestead Museum tours.
